In addition, an article entitled “Up-Skilling/Re-Skilling Pathways for People with Low Skills: The Case of the self-Learn Project” has been published. The abstract was initially submitted by Prof. Dr. S. Alev Söylemez and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Aykaç to the IX.International Congress of Social Sciences, held from September 27 to 29, 2024. A face-to-face presentation was given at the congress on September 28, 2024, and the article was published in the proceedings book, with ISBN 978-625-95080-5-4. This article aimed to explore the upskilling and reskilling of low-skilled adults, investigate available learning opportunities, and identify barriers to accessing these opportunities. Additionally, it showcased the Mobile self-Learning Tool Targeting Improved Adult Literacy (self-Learn) project as a model example of best practices and thoroughly analyzed its methodology, methods, and findings.
